Abstracts

Please submit the abstract online after you finished the registration process. 
All neccessary information will provide you during the abstract submission process.

Accommodation

We recommend booking via online portals such as booking.com or hotel.de.

Conference Proceedings

Your name badge and your program brochure are available at the registration desk in the museum (poster exhibition). Please wear your name badge throughout the meeting.
We do not provide an abstract book. Please download the abstract PDF shortly before the meeting or use the online list of abstracts.

Travel Grants

Are you a student member of GBM and present a poster at the conference? Then you can apply for a travel allowance (at the latest two months before the meeting).

Meals & Drinks

Coffee, tea and mineral water will be provided for free during the coffee breaks.

Posters

The poster sessions will take place outside the lectures in the museum.
The poster should be presented in portrait format (DIN A0 resp. ~120 x 85 cm). Posters should be presented throughout the whole meeting. 

Poster sessions are on 
Wednesday, 6 pm - 9 pm (even poster numbers)
Thursday, 6 pm - 9 pm (uneven poster numbers)

The presenting authors should be close to their poster during the session.

At the end of the conference, the best four posters will be awarded a poster prize (certificate and 250 € prize money). The presence of the presenting author is required.

The registration is in the museum.
Please note the opening hours in the program booklet.

Venues

The conference is spread over two locations.
The registration and information desk is located in the museum.
The lectures of the scientific program will be held in the Neue Aula.
It is only a short walk between the two venues.

Visa

As a participant from abroad you may need a visa from the german embassy. If so please contact the meeting secretariat. We will send you the required invitation letter.
